Admission Information

  • Initial Phone Screening
    Call our admissions/intake worker at 800.275.5410 or 906.524.4411 within 24 to 48 hours following referral. This screening takes approximately 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Assessment
    Individuals living in the Upper Peninsula will need to have an assessment done by NorthCare Network at 906.225.7222.
  • Medication
    Please review the list of medications allowed. If there are questions regarding medications, call admissions/intake.

Requirements

  • Identification
    Required documents include, a photo id, tribal card (if you have one) and social security card.
  • Physical & TB test
    Documented results of the TB test, physical and other information requested must be faxed to our facility no later than Friday prior to your intake date. Positive TB results require a chest x-ray, results from the xray will need to be faxed as well.

  • Finalization
    If information is not received by our facility by the Friday prior to intake, the bed will be given to the next client.
  • Call
    Call to confirm that all information requested has been received by New Day 906.524.4411 ext. 115.

At New Day, we provide a variety of cultural activities and teachings for clients to engage in.

 

Some activities include listening to traditional music, bead work, and sweat lodges.

 

A cultural consultant is available.
